Dr. Mark Eilers recently became Mako certified at The Surgical Innovations and Robotics Institute in the Texas Medical Center. He joins fellow Mako certified surgeons Dr. Paul Chin and Dr. Brian Flowers. Mako is one of the latest technologies, using a robotic arm to perform full and partial knee replacement surgery. This advancement in knee surgery provides the surgeon with a personalized treatment plan based on the patient's specific diagnosis and anatomy. Benefits include more accurate implant alignment, resulting in less pain, less wear and tear, and increased lifespan of the implant. Click here to learn more about Mako Robotic assisted surgery.
